“Staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were good, catering for those with allergies. Lovely quiet hotel with good sized rooms. Good location for exploring other places nearby.”

Hot water was very intermittent, I was told it needs to run for 15 mins before getting warm, but I ran it for much longer than that and still had to have cold showers every morning. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Great location and friendly staff. ”

“stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker”

Check in was terrible, it’s a self check in room and no codes were sent, i tried calling the host multiple times via phone and WhatsApp, no response. I had to contact Hotels.com customer service and wait an hour to get a key-code to enter. There was no WiFi, there were instructions on the wall but the router was not present, a neighbour had the same problem. The TV only works on WIFI so no TV. The location is handy being close to the train……
